Why I Created the “Writing with AI” Group
As a longtime writer and passionate storyteller, I’ve seen how the writing world is changing—fast. AI tools aren’t just gadgets; they’re becoming essential partners in creativity.
But I noticed a lot of misunderstanding and even judgment from traditional writers who see AI-assisted writing as “fake” or “cheating.” That couldn’t be further from the truth. Writing with AI still requires heart, skill, and hard work — just in a different way. It’s about working smarter, not harder, and embracing new possibilities without losing the art of storytelling.
That’s why I started the Writing with AI group:
- To create a supportive space where AI writers can share, learn, and grow together
- To celebrate the unique challenges and victories of writing with AI
- To push back against the outdated stereotypes that dismiss AI writers
- And most importantly, to shine a spotlight on the incredible work AI authors are producing
